Extending Issue Management Beyond IT

Using email or paper forms to coordinate work between departments or groups? Need better insight into how requests are progressing?
Although most service desk software focuses on IT help desk applications, this talk will focus on moving issue management out of IT and into other areas of the business. Some of the benefits include:
- Eliminating paper forms;
- Tracking work in progress; and
- Management visibility into process bottlenecks.
JIRA Core and JIRA Service Desk will be covered as an example system.
About the Presenter
Felix Johnson works as a Functional Business Analyst for Hawaiian Airlines. Previous work experience includes software development and aircraft maintenance. Outside of work, Felix sings baritone with the Windward Choral Society.
