Presenter 

Leila Kagawa

Leila Kagawa is the IT Project Director at HEMIC. Prior to joining HEMIC she worked at the State of Hawaii Office of Enterprise Technology Services as the Enterprise Program Manager and at the Department of Human Resources Development as the Deputy Director and is an Omidyar Fellow. She also worked as Senior Solutions Consultant at ADP, Inc. and in human resources at Pacific Marine & Supply Co., Ltd. She majored in public relations journalism and political science at University of Hawaii at Manoa.
Leila has spent her career working in various capacities and while the role may have changed, her mission has always been to connect with people to inspire innovation and business process improvement and re-engineering through adoption of technology and enhanced tools.

Leila will share what she has learned along the journey working on projects and how to scale and implement an organizational change and project management approach to a project.
