Process and Your Career
About our panel speakers
Rachel is an ASQ Certified Six Sigma Black Belt with a diverse background in consulting, engineering and operational excellence. Her experience applying and teaching Lean Six Sigma concepts spans industrial, IT, healthcare, and engineering organizations.
Working with DoD practitioners of Lean, Six Sigma and the Theory of Constraints, fed my interest in the methodologies over 15 years ago. I was certified as an LSS MBB by BYU Hawaii in 2008 and have been using various aspects of the methodology ever since (SynCADD Systems, Inc., Allscripts, TeamPraxis, UnitedHealth Group, Hawaiian Telcom, Applied Research Works, World Wide Technology, Queens Health Systems, and even Palace Saimin). I am currently a Process Improvement Lead at Hawaiian Airlines, part of the Palace Saimin team and privileged to be a contributor to the Mana'Olana International business consultation team.

Airlines. She has held positions as a Six Sigma Black Belt (at both GE and Hawaiian), a manufacturing
Value Stream manager, a pharma Quality Control Labs leader and leader of Continuous Improvement
organizations for both Raytheon and Merck sub-divisions.

where she is responsible for improving enterprise execution against corporate priorities and aligning the
organization to meet those goals.
