'Holism' originates from the Greek 'holos' (= 'all', 'whole'), and is the concept that systems (physical, biological, social ...) should be viewed as wholes, not just as a collection of its parts.

BAs are often too absorbed by their work on business processes, customer journeys, solutions, ... to realise that all those initiatives have an impact on the whole organisation.

#HolisticBusinessAnalysis requires you to look at an organisation as a whole and not only as a collection of employees, business domains, customers, processes, systems, change initiatives, ...

The speaker will initiate you into the world of #HolisticBusinessAnalysis, on which organisational levels it can contribute, the various types of requirements/stakeholders/scope and how all of these are related.

The speaker will:

• invite you to see the BA profession beyond the tasks and techniques;
• invite you to see your organisation as a whole as well as a collection of its parts;
• introduce you to concepts & techniques essential to #HolisticBusinessAnalysis.

Stefan Bossuwé, CBAP

Passionate about business analysis, Stefan founded in 2009 the IIBA® Brussels Chapter together with a small group of BA enthusiasts, where he was appointed to Chapter President which he remained for 10 years. He became IIBA Global’s EMEA Regional Deputy Director Europe in 2021 which he combines with an Ambassador role for the IIBA Brussels Chapter.
He became the first CBAP® in Belgium and Luxembourg in 2012. 

With 30 years of professional experience in various roles and 20 different business domains, Stefan assists organisations in increasing their BA maturity e.g. coaching and introducing / deploying methodologies + best practices.

Stefan is very driven on promoting the BA profession and shares his knowledge and experience as a speaker at various international conferences and seminars.
As such he’s one of the first content providers of IIBA’s Knowledge Hub and is the originator of the succesfull (copied by several IIBA Chapters) case oriented BABOK® Study Group approach, which he still facilitates for the IIBA Brussels Chapter.
