Business Process Model Notation (BPMN)
With speaker Joseph Hamel, CBAP, CSSBB
Learning Objectives
Do you need a method of describing business processes at a high level for business users, and at a lower level for process implementers?
Business Process Model and Notation (BPMN) is a graphical representation for specifying business processes in a business process model. Some benefits of BPMN are:
- Provides a standard notation that is readily understandable by all business stakeholders;
- May represent complex business processes; and
- Is complemented by a new standard for building decision models, Decision Model and Notation (DMN)
BPMN basics will be covered: Events, activities, gateways, flows, and swim lanes (pools and lanes).
